This summer has been one of challenges for Chase, he was terribly bored and his behavior showed it...there is only so much we can do with our limited funds, our location ....and my anxiety.... :P
School will start 2 weeks from tomorrow and I am relieved for him, the other kids have had a boring summer oh well, someday maybe we will have a summer full of trips and fun, but its just not in the cards right now...
Hawken worked at Arcadia Lodge as their lawn boy....they kept him pretty busy but he was still around to help me and play a bit of summer basketball and softball in Effie. Fottball started and his senior year is going to begin in 2 weeks
Aurora has had the most mellow summer in a long time, she participated in REACH this summer and got to do lots of fun stuff with them and she stayed at friends' houses and generally bummed around with mommy. She's a 4th grader this year and looks forward to school...the kid loves to learn and see her friends each day.
Chase...well we have went over that a little...he is really learning to explore youtube...may have to try to get that boy his own laptop, lol. lots of outside time....he tanned right through 15 sunblock and we have a little golden brown guy....first time ever...biggest issue right now is keeping clothes on him...ugh....I hope that 2nd grade goes as good as 1st :)
Aspen...this little darling is going to be the death of me! :P Adorable, smart, sassy, daring and (I am beginning to suspect) bulletproof. She is the wildest child of all of them, and has me absolutely wrapped around her little finger....
