At White Oak Rendezvous Aurora is being instructed by FawnKiller (Tim Ewert) long time friend in the art of the long bow. She was intense but struggled a bit pulling the bow back, but she did well and hit the target. Hawk throwing was her strong event! She hit the target right away, with authority! I must admit that I did too, LOL. Fun day! We went with Robin, TJ and Ben and ended up being gone 6 hours! We rode in a carriage, we threw Tomahawks, we shot bows, we shopped and we asked a million questions. The interpreters were very knowledgable and helpful. Be sure to go if you get a chance, August 6-8 Deer River, MN right on highway 6. :)
